Technical Trainer – USAID-RWAP

Program Overview
The USAID Ready-to-Work Accelerator Program (RWAP) project will establish a network of up to 20 Centers of Excellence in selected Lembaga Pelatihan Keterampilan (LPKs) to deliver workforce development programs to the Poor and Vulnerable (P&V) youth in Central Java. Centers of Excellence will serve as hubs for Learning and Innovation Networks (LINs), building the capacity of technical and vocational education and training centers and coordinating with the training providers, the local government and the private sector to improve workforce training, provide student support, and certify success for youth, preparing them for success in local job markets.
RWAP will be implemented by a consortium led by RTI International together with YCAB Foundation and EDC. YCAB is responsible for delivering technical assistance in establishing Centers of Excellence as well as program development and outreach.

Responsibilities
Develop training materials based on competency standards required by the company or industry.
Conduct training trials.
Ensure training materials can be delivered correctly in accordance with the objective/purpose to be achieved from the participants of the training.
Conduct review and evaluation of training materials and implementation.
Coordinate with companies or industries related to the development of training materials.
Become a master trainer during training.
Working closely with the RWAP Project team.
Provide training reports to RWAP management and YCAB
Other duties as required to support RWAP and YCAB.
Education, Skills and Experience
Three years or more of professional work experience within education or training fields
Experience in module and training development.
Experience working with youth workforce development programs preferred o Experience working on USAID or other international donor-funded projects preferred
Experience working or willing to relocate to Central Java (local people preferred)
Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, education, or similar field (Master’s degree preferred)
The candidate must be professionally proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia
