Position Overview And Responsibility
New account revenue growth focus of domestic and international air cargo, ocean services imports and exports, customs brokerage, domestic LTL, domestic FTL, expedited surface moves, and warehousing/distribution.
Brand recognition in the Boston/New England market
Develop and implement sales plans concentrating within key vertical industry segments such as Trade Show, Medical, E-commerce/Retail, and Government.
Expand the development of key corporate accounts by penetrating the decision-making hierarchy, enhancing relationships, selling value-added solutions and raise the visibility of Team Worldwide within the customer s total supply chain.
Account mix can be defined as small to medium local business, domestic or international and global in scope.
Pricing, marketing support, RFP s, RFQ s, and sales lead generation
Long term goal is to establish a Team Worldwide agency in the Boston market. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to own and operate the local agency, as business warrants the expansion. Agency owners fulfill a critical role at Team Worldwide in terms of revenue growth, operational leadership, brand recognition, customer satisfaction, and net income. Requirements And Qualifications
Minimum 5 to 7 years sales experience within the transportation and logistics industry.
Bachelor s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Proven track record of developing and coaching a sales team.
Quantifiable record of sales accomplishments and dealing with Fortune 1000 companies.
International, domestic and supply chain knowledge.
Strong interpersonal, presentation and listening skills.
Logistics technology knowledge.
Full time, Exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Computer literacy, word, power point and excel are regarded as added benefits
