Job Description
Maintaining a good and professional working relationship with the relevant retail Bank management as well other key persons in relevant units within Bank and its group of companies
Working with marketing and product &distribution development heads and Bank partner and relevant units within Bank and its group of companies to initiate research and analysis to assess and appraise business opportunities in new or existing distribution, market and product lines
Developing new lines of business through new products and in-branch distribution opportunities
Assessing distribution development opportunities, devising and implementing sales and business plans to maximise opportunities within the branch network and relevant units within Bank and its group of companies
Working together with product development on product creation and design
Providing detailed analysis and planning on distribution structure, compensation scheme and product design
Working with Bank partner and relevant units within Bank and its group of companies on appropriate tactical sales campaigns including incentive propositions as necessary
Ultimately responsible for recruiting and maintaining quality sales teams and leaders

The Successful Applicant
Excellent knowledge of life insurance theory and products
Excellent knowledge of the retail banking environment
Proficient in verbal and written English
Having excellent and proven communication skills
Being sales oriented, self motivated and keen to succeed
Being able to manage relationships at all levels
Able to multi-task and manage multiple issues and projects
Skilled at time management
Having a hands-on approach to problem solving
Used to national travel and managing remotely
Minimum University Graduate (S1)
10 years of experience in a Bancassurance or retail sales management function
Having had responsibility for achieving sales of a financial services product through a third party
Experience in managing a relationship at a senior level with a major bank or other financial
institutions
Having managed projects which involve inter-departmental coordination and tight deadlines
Computer literate and competent with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Have successfully led small and large projects to conclusion
