Senior Sales Director (Pumps/Valves MNC)
Our client is a global supplier of pumps, valves and related services with more than 16,000 employees worldwide. They have sales and marketing organisations, manufacturing facilities and service operations on all continents. Their clients are operating across the industrial applications, building services, water and waste water management as well as energy and mining processes.

Based in the Jakarta office, the Sales Director will report to the Regional Executive and will head the Indonesia Sales and Marketing unit and its operations in the country. The responsibilities are including but not limited to the following:

Develops strategic marketing and sales plans and forecasts, to meet corporate objectives for products and services.
Develops and manages sales and marketing operating budgets.
Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
Establishes and maintains relationships with key customers, industry influencers and strategic partners.
Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
Leading sales team, provide necessary training, evaluate individual performance to develop and control sales and marketing programmes.
Directs market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
Meets with key customers, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Engineering with at least 10 years’ of experience in the field of pump, valve or project business sales.
Proven track record in leading and developing sales and marketing team nationwide.
Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical thinking and great leadership.
