TECHNICAL MANAGER FURNITURE
(DKI Jakarta)
Responsibilities :
To lead assigned aspects of technical training and coordinate technical standards.
To professionally advise clients or merchants on furniture vendor placement, considering both client needs and company ability to support.
To help clients develop product where needed and to translate the development into clear specifications for the factory and company quality control.
To participate and lead training of the company furniture staff and new client orientation training. Training may encompass new client education, merchant training, technical, quality control, regulatory compliance, or company procedures.
Where responsible for specific projects or clients, to diligently follow up with local teams on all projects and client needs to ensure client are being promptly served.
To participate in direct management of furniture teams and projects when necessary.
To attend and lead corrective action investigations with vendors and company staff where necessary.
To proactive participate in formulating corporate furniture strategy with GMM.
To perform additional duties as required to meet department and company needs.
Requirement :
Having 5 years experience in managerial position in business.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with capability to do training and impressive client presentations.
Hands-on experience in global furniture sourcing.
Sound technical knowledge in furniture engineering, materials, finishing, packing and regulatory information related to furniture.
Able to analyze product versus vendor and accurately predict success / failure so proper product placement can made and quality problems prevented.
Good knowledge in vendor management.
Able to lead creative/innovative product development and product search an able to apply judgment to those projects based on a good understanding of the target market.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Power Point).
Leadership adherence to company policies and procedures, tolerant for stress, proactive, integrity, work independently, analytical, well-organized, good problem solving, attention to details, systematic, reliable, good interpersonal and communication skills.
